Tasks
The central task of the Teacher Training Center is to ensure and further develop a science-oriented and professional teacher training program. To that end, the LBZ also works closely with the faculties that train teachers.
In addition to ensuring a complete and adequate range of courses, the LBZ also acts as a supporting, coordinating, and advisory institution in teacher training regarding practical components, cross-faculty and interdisciplinary parts of the curriculum, and other organizational matters.
In consultation with the Rectorate and the faculties, the LBZ is also involved in the relevant commissions and committees responsible for distributing resources for teacher training.
