The FachdidaktikForum at the Teacher Training Center was founded in 2012 to network teaching didactics as a research discipline. All subject didactics represented in teacher training and the educational sciences at RWTH Aachen University are brought together in this working group.

The FachdidaktikForum at the RWTH Teacher Training Center provides an exchange platform for didacticians of general education subjects and professional disciplines as well as representatives of the educational sciences. In regular working group meetings, the members of the FachdidaktikForum initiate joint research projects, create offers to promote young researchers, and support the professionalization of teacher training at RWTH. The Center focuses on the communication of relevant issues of teacher training within the University, but also on the presentation of the joint work to the public.
